Communication of Admission Decisions
Admission Services will use the mailing address and/or email address provided by the applicant to communicate admission decisions. The University will not be held responsible for decisions sent to these addresses but not received. Applicants who applied using the OUAC application can view admission decisions through their OUAC account. Applicants not currently enrolled in an Ontario high school can also view admission decisions via their specified Admission Portal (access to this online tool will be made available once the application has been received).
Timing of Offers
Applicants who are not currently enrolled in any secondary or post-secondary studies can expect to receive an admission decision following receipt of the application and all required documents. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Typically, applications for limited enrolment programs will be considered at the same time in competition for the spaces which are available.
Applicants currently enrolled in post-secondary studies will normally be required to submit all official transcripts at the conclusion of their studies before a final admission decision is made. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis as they become complete (e.g. all required documents are received). Typically, applications for limited enrolment programs will be considered at the same time in competition for the spaces which are available.
Those admitted with courses in progress will receive a conditional offer of admission and must successfully complete all courses in which they're currently enrolled as well as any and all other conditions specified in the offer of admission in order to maintain their offer.
Admission decisions for the D.V.M. program will not be made until after the deadline date for receipt of applications and documentation.
