European Cultures (EC)
School of Languages and Literatures
The Minor in European Cultures provides students with knowledge of aspects of European Culture from classical antiquity to the modern age. Through the study of cinema, history, literature, students discover relevant elements of art, myths, migrations, conflicts, and how cultural interactions shaped Europe from antiquity to the contemporary age.
Students majoring in Classical and Modern Cultures can declare a minor in European Cultures if they select the Area of Emphasis of Classical Studies or Languages and Linguistics. Students in the Global European Studies Area of Emphasis cannot declare a minor in European Cultures.
Minor (Honours Program)
This minor cannot be combined with a major in Classical and Modern Cultures - Global European Studies Area of Emphasis.
